SROA Board of Directors issues statement regarding
design committee resignation
SROA NEWS – At its
Sept. 19 meeting, the SROA
Board of Directors accepted
the resignation of a Design
Committee member following an incident that occurred
during a Sept. 11 Design
Committee meeting.
In accepting the resignation, the board issued the
following statement:
The SROA Board would like
to make a statement concern-
ing the situation that arose
during the September 11, 2026
Design Committee meeting.
The individual involved from
the Design Committee has
submitted, and SROA has accepted, his resignation.
The Board recognizes our responsibility to address conduct
that falls short of the standards
expected of those serving the
Association. As stewards of the
Association, we do not con-
done derogatory, disrespectful,
or inappropriate conduct by
anyone representing SROA,
including Board members,
staff, or official volunteers. All
Sunriver owners deserve to be
treated fairly, professionally,
and with respect.
While we are publicly acknowledging and denouncing
the inappropriate behavior
of the Design Committee
member, it is only fair that we
also recognize and consider
how and why that happened.
Ultimately, civil discourse and
proper decorum among all
parties is expected and must be
maintained during all association meetings. Thus, the Board
expects that interactions by
owners with SROA volunteers
and staff are also conducted in
a respectful and professional
manner that supports the effective administration of SROA.
Payment options for 2027 maintenance fee payments
SROA NEWS – At the September meeting of the SROA
Board of Directors, the board
approved a 3% discount on
maintenance fees when an
owner prepays their annual
amount in full.
Owners can choose their
payment option by filling out
a form on the SROA website
at www.sunriverowners.org/
maintenancefeeoption. You
must submit a payment choice
form by Nov. 17.
PLEASE NOTE, you only
need to fill out a form if you
would like to change your
payment choice from previous years.
1. Annual prepayment (receive 3% discount)
Prepay your 2027 maintenance fee amount in full and
receive a 3% discount. This
saves the expense of printing
and mailing monthly invoices.
You will receive your invoice
in mid-December either via
mail or email depending on
your selected preference. Your
one-time payment must be
received by SROA no later
than Jan. 25, 2027 to receive
the discount.
PLEASE NOTE: The 3%
discount applies to the regular
maintenance fee only. Bulk
fiber payments are not subject
to the 3% discount.
2. Monthly ACH transfer
The second alternative is to
authorize SROA to automatically withdraw monthly payments from your bank account.
Check the appropriate box on
the online form. You’ll receive
an enrollment form from the
accounting office to initiate
this process.
3. Pay online (3% discount
only if paid in full)
You can also pay any amount,
anytime, online with a credit
or debit card through your
account portal on the SROA
website. Once you receive
the invoice, visit the website
(www.sunriverowners.org) and
choose the “Maintenance Fees”
button from the center of the
homepage. This will take you
to the page where you can
access your account (you’ll
need to set up a login/password to view your account, if
you haven’t already done so).
You can also make monthly
payments here with your
card. All online payments
are subject to a 3% convenience fee.
Members who do not choose
a payment option will automatically receive both the annual
invoice and monthly invoices.
The SROA Board of Directors determines the amount
of the 2027 maintenance fee
at the November board meeting. That amount will be announced in the Scene and on
the SROA website.
