16th annual Sunriver Art Fair supports Sunriver Women's Club
The Sunriver Women’s Club
Art Fair is one of Sunriver's
biggest events every year.
Celebrating its 16th year, this
year it hosted more than 90
booths featuring arts and crafts
of various styles and mediums. Visitors meandered these
booths, looking for beautiful
pieces to purchase or simply
spark their own curiosities.
As this event is hosted at The
Village at Sunriver, visitors were
encouraged to enjoy the local
restaurants, shops and activities. Artists that participate in
the fair may come from faraway
places, but others are local to
Central Oregon.
Local Bend artist Anna Amejko spoke on her experience at
the 2026 Sunriver Women’s
Club Art Fair. “I have participated in this show three times
before, and it continues to be
one of my favorites. It is organized by the most amazing
staff, and we are always so well
supported as artists. This year
was a successful one for me
with a great mix of both locals
and tourists.”
All net proceeds from this
event support the Sunriver
Women’s Club Community
Grant Program. The grant program supports public schools
and nonprofits that provide
services in five priority areas,
exclusively to people living
in south Deschutes County.
Grants totaling $96,500 were
awarded to 20 nonprofits and
public schools during 2025. In
total, more than $1.2 million
dollars has been donated to area
nonprofits since 1999.
The 2026 art fair is wrapped
up but keep early August in the
back of your mind for 2027.
Join us next year to support
artists and the wonderful community efforts of the Sunriver
Women’s Club.

The Sunriver Art Fair is held the second weekend in August,

Sunriver Christmas Sharing Program accepting applications in October
The holiday season may seem
months away, but for many
families planning for Christmas
begins months in advance.
That’s why volunteers will
start taking applications for the
annual Sunriver Community
Christmas Sharing Program
in October.
The Sunriver Christmas
Sharing Program is dedicated to bringing hope and
joy to families in the community who may be facing
financial challenges during
the holiday season.
Through the generosity of
local donors, volunteers and
most importantly the wonderful community, volunteers
help provide gifts for children
and support families with a
holiday meal along with other
household items needed, so
they can experience the magic
of Christmas.
If you or someone you know
could benefit from this program and live in the 97707-zip
code, volunteers encourage you
to apply when applications
become available in October.
Lisa Dalton will be taking applications at Care and
Share’s food distribution day
on Friday, Oct. 30 from 2:45
to 5:45 p.m. in the Sunriver
Business Park.
Applying early helps volunteers plan, organize and ensure
every eligible family receives
the support they need before
the holidays. Holiday baskets
are delivered by volunteers a
few days before the holiday.
“We look forward to serving
our community once again
and thank everyone who helps
make this program possible,”
Dalton said.
Community members, businesses, churches and organizations are invited to join
volunteers with the Sunriver
Christmas Sharing program
to make a difference for
local families.
Whether you choose to donate or volunteer your time,
every act of kindness helps
brighten Christmas for a neighbor in need.
Additional information
about application dates, eligibility requirements and donation opportunities will be
announced soon.
Together, community members can make the Christmas
season be one filled with hope,
generosity and the joy of giving.
