New members, Sunriver Oktoberfest and Sunriver Saturday Market
The Sunriver Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed
two new members in June
and worked with several organizations to finalize the
plans for the second annual
Sunriver Oktoberfest.
The chamber supports its
members in several ways, including sharing their news in
the Sunriver Scene.
Fundraiser for Three Rivers
School in Sunriver
Sunriver Raft & Float is
partnering with Three Rivers
School in the Sunriver Business
Park for a community fundraiser that supports local students
while getting families out on
the river this summer.
For every participant booked
through the fundraiser page,
Sunriver Raft & Float will donate $7 to Three Rivers School
in Sunriver.

qualifies, so families can simply book their river day while

opening celebration in June, which included a ribbon cutting,
hosted by the chamber.

“I want to have artists and
professionals feel like they
have a community, a place to
get work done with everything
they need close at hand. It will
be a place that you will want
to spend time,” Gregory said.
Gregory earned a Master
of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from OSU-Cascades. She
worked remotely for the past
four years and understands
the desire to have a place to go
outside of the home and be part
of community.
The space will be open weekdays during business hours,
but Gregory says members
will have key cards so they can
access the space after hours. In
the evenings and on weekends,
she plans to host events, like
open mic nights, classes or
lectures, which will be open to
the public.
“We will also facilitate a space
for artists to display and sell
their work, be it books, paintings, whatever,” she said.

The Sunriver Saturday Market is a boutique market where
you can find delicious food for
your picnic basket, something
for your home or graduation
or wedding gifts. The vendors
are Central Oregon businesses.
The market is from 9
a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday,
July 25 at SHARC on the
basketball court.
At each market, there is a
game for one person to win a
gift basket. Be sure to follow
the Sunriver Saturday Market

additional information.
