'Tis the season for parties,
guests, appetizers, desserts and
gifts. The annual Visions of
Sugarplums Bake/Craft Sale
extraordinaire can help you be
the best host and guest ever.
Sponsored by Sunriver Christian Fellowship and friends,
this special event is 10 a.m.
to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15
at SHARC. The line starts to
form early, so plan accordingly.
Elves have been hard at work
for months planning the sale.
Tried and true recipes will be
prepared and frozen for you to
have on hand for both expected
and unexpected company.
There are amazing appetizers
and delicious soups, along with
main dishes including lasagnas,
potpies, macaroni and cheese,
meatloaf and more.

December news
There will be no meeting
in December. Instead, the
Sunriver Anglers have reserved
the Lake House at Caldera
Springs for Monday, Dec. 1
for its annual holiday party.
Members and their guests
are encouraged to sign up at
sunriveranglers.org as soon as
possible.
There will be a great selection of silent auction items this
year, and last year’s dinner was
fantastic.
Treats galore will be available at the bake sale.
All proceeds from this annual
sale support local nonprofits.
While credit and debit cards
are welcome, payment by cash
or check is encouraged. Nonprofits supported in the past
include Three Rivers and La
Pine school families, Care and
Share Food Bank, Volunteers
in Medicine, Neighbor Impact,
Shepherd's House, Grandma's
House, Habitat for Humanity
La Pine Sunriver, Friends of
the Children, Furnish Hope,
Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Care
for Kids, Trillium, MountainStar Family Relief Nursery and
Bethlehem Inn.
The event is free and open to
the public. Come and enjoy a
fun shopping experience that
will help you get into the holiday spirit and provide funds for
those in need as well.
