Reasonable Handyman Inc.
James Salmon is a jack-ofall-trades with a deep love for
building and fixing things the
right way.
His roots in construction
began 24 years ago when he
worked alongside his father
and grandfather.
Both men were seasoned
general contractors who
taught Salmon the values of
craftsmanship, integrity and
hard work.
Before launching Reasonable
Handyman, Salmon spent two
years on the maintenance team
for the Bend La Pine School
District.

Owner Enrichment Committee builds connection and looks to the future
SROA NEWSWhether
learning something new, meeting neighbors or simply enjoying time together, Sunriver residents found countless opportunities to connect this past year
through programs and events
created by the Owner Enrichment Committee (OEC).
A central focus of OEC’s
work remains Sunriver You,
a program that brings residents together to learn and
share knowledge across a wide
range of interests.
Classes and forums this past
year covered topics that were
practical, thought provoking
and fun, reflecting the diverse
talents and curiosity found
within the community.
Many sessions were taught by
Sunriver residents themselves,
underscoring the strength and
generosity of local expertise.
OEC also continued to promote social connection through
the monthly Sunriver Own-

The informal gatherings
provided an inviting space for
neighbors to meet, reconnect
and welcome new participants
including longtime owners
attending for the first time.
Community celebration remained a priority as well. The
annual Spring Fling Dance
returned to SHARC as a full
dinner and dance, creating
an evening of music, food
and conversation.
Attendance and feedback
reflected continued interest
in maintaining the event as a
seasonal tradition.
In addition to programs
and events OEC emphasized appreciation for
community volunteers.

idents who donated their time
throughout the year, recognizing the vital role volunteers play
in sustaining Sunriver’s events
and activities.
The committee’s popular
daffodil bulb sale also continued, adding seasonal color
across neighborhoods and
reinforcing a shared sense of
pride in the community.
OEC members supported
numerous additional SROA
efforts during the year from assisting with events to operating
the Sunriver Ski Club, which
coordinates winter trips and
social gatherings.
While the year brought many
highlights, the committee fac-
es a growing need for new
