Sip, savor, support at Art Meets Wine in Sunriver
Spring signals the anticipation for one
of Sunriver’s signature events.
The eighth annual Art Meets Wine
in Sunriver is Saturday, May 30 from 3
to 7 p.m. at SHARC. The event brings
together the best of Oregon’s wine, art
and community spirit.
Celebrating Oregon Wine Month,
Art Meets Wine in Sunriver provides
an opportunity to explore the richness
and diversity of the state’s wine regions
without leaving Sunriver.
Representatives from 11 premier
wineries will pour selections that span
regions and styles, from the elegant pinot
noirs of the Willamette Valley to bold
reds shaped by the warmer climate of
Southern Oregon. Each glass tells a different story of place, craft and tradition.
The wineries are:
• Upper Five Vineyard is located in the
Rogue Valley American Viticulture Area,
where high-elevation conditions bring
intensity and character to each vintage.
• West Haven Vineyard emphasizes
community, sustainability and smallbatch boutique white wines.
• Domaine Divio crafts elegant,
Burgundy-inspired wines that reflect the
Willamette Valley.
• Project M’s “Personify” pinot noir
stands out as a highly rated expression
of Oregon pinot noir.
• Antiquum Farm is known for its
regenerative, farm-driven approach to
pinot noir.
• Ken Wright Cellars highlights sitespecific character through its acclaimed
single-vineyard wines.
• Ghost Hill Cellars creates stunning
pinot noirs in Carlton, and it has an interesting story of the legend of the ghost
and the family farming history.
• MonksGate Vineyard, a family-
owned producer, creates handcrafted
pinot noir, Riesling, and rosé with
minimal intervention.
• Schultz Glory Oaks Vineyard and
Farm focuses on organic practices across
both its vineyard and farm.
• Laurel Ridge, a second-generation
family operation, continues to innovate
with its 2022 Estate Chasselas Doré
earning international recognition.
• Henry Estate Winery reflect the deep
roots of winemaking in the Umpqua
Valley, with the Henry family among
the region’s early pioneers.
Art Meets Wine reflects on more
than what is in the glass. Hosted by
the Sunriver Women’s Club, it is one
of the club’s major fundraisers and a
cornerstone of its philanthropic mission. Through its Community Grant
Program, the club supports nonprofit
organizations across the region, award-
ing more than $96,000 in 2025 alone.
Guests at Art Meets Wine can visit
tasting stations, watch live art demonstrations from local artists, and visit
with friends old and new. The energy
builds as the auctions begin, offering
everything from getaway experiences to
Bend and Hood River to a round of golf
at Crosswater Club and unique, one-ofa-kind items.
Community members and visitors are
invited to raise a glass, enjoy exceptional
Oregon wines and support a local cause
all while enjoying springtime in Sunriver.
Tickets are $85 and include all wine
tastings, a chef-prepared catered meal,
Hot Lava desserts, live and online auctions, art demonstrations, a wine glass,
and the famous $20 Wine Wall. Guests
must be 21 years old and older.
Visit artmeetswine.org to purchase
