Tennis season is just around the corner; dates for Sunriver Solstice Tournament announced

Sunriver owners, visitors and
locals can look forward to a fun
summer of tennis in Sunriver.
Courts are prepped and nets
start going up in late March
around spring break.
The season is in full swing
by Memorial Day and, if the
weather holds, lasts well into
September and even into October.
If you’re looking for a game
or want more information
about tennis in Sunriver, your
one-stop-shop is the Tennis &
Pickleball page on the Sunriver
Owners Association website
(navigate there easily at www.

You’ll find information on
how to reserve a court, court
locations, tennis instruction,
tennis events and the Sunriver
Tennis Club.
Under the tennis club link,
there’s a list of Sunriver tennis
players, information on our
regular weekly tennis groups,
and more information about
other club activities.
Note: You don’t have to be
a member of the club to participate in our events – all are
welcome.

a mixer starting at 4 pm.
Sunday, June 7 at the North
Courts, off West Core Road.
We will play some fun
all-ability tennis games then
gather for drinks, snacks and
great tennis conversation.
Next on the tennis calendar
is the 17th Annual Sunriver
Solstice Tennis Tournament.
In fact, this year, there will
be two tournaments. The junior tournament is back!
The junior tournament
takes place Saturday, June 20
and Sunday, June 21.
This is an age division tour-
The Sunriver Tennis Club invites players of all skill levels to participate in its summer events.
nament for boys and girls 12
& under through 18 & under with singles and doubles
events.
The format will be designed
so that players get as many
matches as possible. USTA
membership is not required
for this intermediate and
above level tournament.
The Sunriver Solstice Adult
NTRP tournament will be
the following weekend, June
26–28.
There are singles, doubles
and mixed doubles events for
players in ability levels from
intermediate to expert (NTRP
3.0–4.5+).
This tournament will fill
up and draw sizes are limited
so if you are interested in par-
ticipating, be sure to sign up
early. USTA membership is
not required.
