Volunteers needed for Career
Exploration lunch May 14
The Sunriver Area Chamber
of Commerce is hosting the
fourth annual Career Exploration lunch for middle school
students at Three Rivers School
in Sunriver and La Pine Middle
School.
Volunteers are sought to eat
lunch with students and talk
about their careers.
Volunteers will receive information on questions to
ask students and how to share
information about their careers.
Volunteers are needed in
the following areas: acting,
animal care, automotive service
technicians and mechanics,
coaching and scouting, computer and information system
management, construction
labor, dance and choreography,
education, engineering, farming and ranching, firefighting,
hairdressing and cosmetology,
medical practice, physical and
nursing, music performance,
professional athlete, lawyer,
zoologist and wildlife biologist
and writers.

Homeowners Aquatic
& Recreation Center.

the market is the
last Saturday of the
month from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m.
• The market dates
are Saturdays, May 30; June 27;
July 25, Aug. 29, and Sept. 26.
The Sunriver Saturday Holiday
Market is Saturday, Nov. 28.

Fourth Annual Sunriver
Saturday Market
Plans are underway for the
Sunriver Saturday Markets’
2026 season. The chamber is
seeking vendors at three levels: gold, silver and bronze. If
you are interested in being a

Make plans to attend the
2026 K9 Keg Pull on Saturday, Feb. 7 in The Village at
Sunriver.
Check in for your dog is from
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the races
starting at 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Each dog is placed in a category based on their weight; and
pull an empty keg specific to
their weight class. Awards will
be given to the fastest dogs in
each category.
The event is sponsored by
Sunriver Brewing Co. with the
proceeds benefiting the Ronald
McDonald House.
The entry fee is $25 per dog.
All are welcome to enjoy the
event – with or without a dog.
There will be dog related
vendors including the Bend
VW Photo Bus to take commemorative photos.
Participants and spectators
are encouraged to donate dog
food and enter to win some
great prizes. The dog food will
be donated to the Humane
Society of Central Oregon.
